1. What date is the seminar?
The seminar will take place on August 23, 2025.
2. What time does it start and end?
The seminar runs from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
3. Where is it being held?
At Eddie Fyvie Jiu-Jitsu Academy, located in Malta, New York.
4. How much does it cost?
The seminar is $200 per person.
5. Is there a payment plan option?
Yes! If you have the Afterpay app, you can split the cost into installments.
6. Is it open to beginners?
Absolutely. The seminar is open to all levels, and extra instructors will be walking around to assist beginners.
7. Can kids attend?
Yes, kids aged 10 and up are welcome to attend.
8. What should I wear?
No-Gi attire (rashguard and shorts) or basic workout clothes are perfectly fine.
9. Will there be time for photos or autographs?
Yes, there will be time after the seminar for photos and autographs.
10. Do I need to be a member of EFJJA to attend?
No, the seminar is open to all academies and affiliations.
11. How do I sign up?

12. How many spots are available?
There are 100 total spots available.
13. Is the seminar Gi or No-Gi?
It is a No-Gi seminar.
14. Will I get to roll with Nate or Jake?
The seminar focuses on instruction, but participants will be drilling and training under their direct guidance.
15. What happens if it sells out?
If it sells out, you will be added to a waiting list in case a spot opens up.
16. Is the event refundable?
The event is non-refundable, unless Nate or Jake are unable to attend.
17. What if I’ve never trained before?
You’re still welcome! It would be an epic first class and a great introduction to Jiu-Jitsu.
18. Is there parking at the facility?
Yes, there is plenty of parking available on-site.
19. How early should I arrive?
Please arrive at least 30 minutes early, especially if you’re not a member, to fill out waivers.
20. Are there any spectator passes available?
Yes, spectator passes are available for $50.
21. Will there be event shirts for sale?
No shirts will be for sale, but the first 30 people to sign up will receive a free limited-edition event shirt.
22. Can I use my EFJJA membership credit toward the event?
No, this is a special event and is not covered by regular membership credits.
