January 3rd Final Class at EFJJA Join us at Spa City Jiu-Jitsu Academy
This Saturday will be the final class at EFJJA. It has been an incredible 13 years.
It’s a bittersweet moment after many meaningful years on the mats, and I’m incredibly grateful for every student, family, and teammate who helped build what we shared.
At the same time, I’m genuinely excited for what’s ahead. I’ll be teaching full time at Spa City Jiu Jitsu Academy, a name that carries real meaning for me and this community, as it was the original name of our academy when it first began back in 2006. I’m rejuvenated by the chance to put my full energy back into teaching and mentoring. For the past three years specifically, I’ve been teaching 40 to 50 classes per week, across three counties while also running the business.
Now, being able to focus completely on the mats allows me to give even more to my students and the art. I also want to sincerely thank Dan Henderson for believing in me, stepping up when it mattered, and helping make this next chapter possible.
I’m excited to keep growing, teaching, and expanding Jiu Jitsu in the Malta area for the next five years and beyond. This isn’t an ending. It’s a new chapter, and I’m grateful to be building it together. See you on the mats at Spa City Jiu Jitsu
