Why Jiu-Jitsu?
- ALL OF THE TECHNIQUES in our program do not rely on the strength, speed, or athleticism of the user and all the techniques have been tested and proven effective in tactical gear.
- We developed our Jiu-Jitsu for Law Enforcement program to be tactically effective, using leverage-based techniques that are less likely to cause serious injury to both the officer and arrestee. Also, Jiu-Jitsu’s gentler appearance has a greater acceptance from a viewing public, as many people have increasingly scrutinized the use of force by police officers.
- A street encounter between a law enforcement professional and suspect is vastly different from a street fight or a sport jiu-jitsu match. Yet, some defensive tactics programs make no distinction.
- There will come a time when backup is late or not available.
- MMA is coming becoming more and more popular in our society. Don’t allow yourself to be caught off guard by a person’s violent skill set during an arrest.
- Even though, the U.S. Armed Forces and every federal law enforcement organization have embraced training Jiu-Jitsu; some state and local agencies have been unable to access the field-tested, life-saving techniques taught in our Jiu-Jitsu course.
